Clan War Schedule

For the time being, when we go to war, once it is concluded, we will take roughly 48 hours off before we start the next one. That way we will war for two days, and then take a 2 day break. It will help people not get burnt out and to replentish stock on troops and resources. 

As always, please only let the clan leaders start the wars. Thanks!

Why can't I attack in the war?
There are a few reasons why you might not be able to attack in the war

• You are ineligible for war
• You have joined when the Clan War has already started
• Your base has not matched up with any of the opponent's base
• The war is in preparation day

What do you mean I am ineligible for war?

Ineligible for war means you have just left a clan while it was still in the progress of a Clan War. Don't worry though, it's not permanent, but just a cool down until your previous clan has finished its war.

What do you mean my base was not matched up with any of the opponent's base?

Supercell uses a very complex calculation to match up the clans according to the bases of the participants. While you may think that your base is very strong and you should be in the war, it is possible that it does not match up with ANY of the opponents base which may include being too strong or too weak.

What is preparation day?

Preparation day is the time for you and your clan mates to donate troops to the War Castle, rearrange bases, build up defenses, and so on.

So what should I do to be able to participate in a Clan War?

While I am not 100% sure what you can do to ensure your spot in the next Clan War, my only suggestion is to build up your defenses (e.g. Walls, Archer towers, cannons, etc.)

What's the difference between the War Castle and the Clan Castle?

War Castle holds the troops for your War Base which effectively defends your War Base during the Battle Day of the war. In other words, this castle holds the defensive troops.

Clan Castle holds the troops for your regular multiplayer attacks and your war attacks. These are your offensive troops during the war and your defensive troops in your normal base.

TL;DR: War Castle troops are defensive, Clan Castle troops are offensive

Where is my war loot?

At the end of the war, the loot is rewarded to your Clan Castle where you have to click the "Collect" button to obtain the loot. This loot is lootable by normal raiders so try and get it asap!

I donated 500 over troops to the War Castles, why aren't they showing in my donations in the clan?

That is something that a lot of people have been asking Supercell to implement. It might be in your normal clan donations or they might make another one just for war donations. Either ways, we thank you for your donations and we hope that Supercell will do something about it soon.

This is war!!!!!

War is upon us.  As most of you have seen, there is a new feature to Clash of Clans.

This has been a big bonus to out clan because it has helped recruit a lot of great new players. 

Also, I wanted to let you all know, if you join the clan, and decide not to participate in the war, we will be forced to remove you from the clan. 

I will also add a new reward. If you are involved in a war, and get the clan 6 stars, I will count that towards 100 of your donations to become elder. 

Now to the fun part. During the planning stage, please only donate defensive troops.  With that being said, only donate lvl 4 or higher when it comes to archers, wizards, or minions. Any dragon over lvl 2 would also be great!

As far as base defense, please make sure you protect your town halls. If you have a farming base, the clan war bonus will be a lot better than the loosing bonus. And if people can snipe your town hall, that is free stars you are giving away. Also, a stronger base may result in a defeat, and the more attacks they can "waste" the better off we are. 

As far as attacking goes, if you are attacking for a battle, make sure you tell people you are. That way we can load you up with the best possible troops. 

Because a lot of us will be making high costing troops for the war,  try and make your normal requests open to pretty much anything. That way everybody in the clan can contribute in some way. Makes the clan more FUN for all!

Queen laycee and bjohnson have permanent exemptions. They will donate when they can. 

REQUESTING LATELY

First off.... I want to thank each and every person for being in this clan.  There have been a lot of us that have been in the clan for a very long time, and we are always welcome to new people!

I would just like to remind everybody, that the only way this clan can operate is by donations.  Most people are happy to give "high priced" troops, but to repeatedly ask for them is well... greedy.  If you are basing your every action in the game based on getting high level troops, then you need to re-think things.  Also, by asking for such high level or specific troops, you are cutting back on chances for donations, and that means some people could be lost from the clan due to lack of donating.

Asking for Dragon, Wizards, Pekka's, and the lot all the time, is well with your rights, but DO NOT EXPECT the request to be filled all the time.  Not only do they cost a lot of elixir, but they also take a while to build, so getting your request filled could take a while.  Don't complain if people aren't filling it right away.

Also, specifying a certain level of troop is fine as well, but know that if you cannot make them yourselves, you are probably less likely to get them from people.

PEOPLE.... PLEASE DO NOT GIVE TROOPS THAT ARE NOT REQUESTED!!!!!!!!  It is happening too much lately.  And unless you know exactly who gave you the wrong troop, please do not complain about it.  It doesn't do any good unless you can point out that person specifically, and then the council will deal with it.

There will be one exception to this rule.  If you have a level 6 anything, you are free to give it, regardless of the request after 10 minutes.

The best part of this clan, is that you can come in, "hang" out with some cool people and help them out in any way that you can.  If you are very competitive and that's not the kind of place you can see yourself, maybe this clan just isn't for you.

Request away... just maybe be a little more open to things so you help the clan out as a whole and give everybody the chance to donate.  Trust me, if people have cool troops available, they will let the clan know, and they will be happy to share them with you.

How the scoring and ranking works...
Every 2 weeks, the donation tally of each member will be determined to see if they satisfy the 1,500/3,000 donation criteria.
Based on their donations, they are categorised to the two divisions as seen above.
Elite donators are awarded 2 points.
Heavy donators are awarded 1 point.
The overall Hall of Donating Fame is ranked based on the number of points.
If the points of any number of members are equal, they are ranked alphabetically.
If the any members are still unable to be separated by points and alphabetical order, the position of the moon in correlation to the direction of the wind over the leader's head will determine the ranking of these members. In other words, the leader can rank them however he likes.
